Pork Chops Smothered in Gravy

I really love this! I wanted to try something new one day, but it took me two tries to perfect the recipe. But now I really find it is so easy to make...it is definitely comfort food! You may just want to take a nap to soak it all in afterwards. Please do not expect your waist to go down two sizes after this meal! But here you go!

What you will need!
Pork Chops (any cuts, I prefer the one with the bone, but that is just me!)
Lemon Pepper
Pepper
Salt
Garlic Salt
Milk
Flour
Oil
Butter
Water
Parsley Flakes

Preparation:

Sprinkle salt, pepper, and lemon pepper, and flour on the pork chops. I like a lot of lemon pepper in mine, i think the lemon kinda cuts down the fatty taste that pork usually have.

Set oven at 350.

 Let's Cook!

In pan, lightly drizzle your oil. Once it is heated up, sear both sides of the pork chop. Cook it long enough on either side that is half way cooked!

Take the pork chops out of the pan, and then transfer them in a baking dish. Cover with foil and stick it in the oven.

Put all the drippings of the gravy into a measuring cup.

Let's make the gravy!

Mix a little bit of water and flour together. Make sure the flour is completely dissolved.

In a sauce pan, take a spoonful of butter, and let it melt.

Add your flour and water mixture into the pan.

Now it gets clumpy, so add your milk, and whisk to get all those clumps!

Add the drippings from the pork chops into the pan. It should be bubbling up, by now but keep mixing! If its too thick just add a little bit more milk!

Pull out the Pork Chops out of the oven. By this time, there should be a little bit more juice in the pan from the pork chops so add that to your gravy.

Add garlic salt and pepper to taste. Then add, your parsley flakes. Now, that your gravy is done, put gravy on top of the pork chops, and stick it back in the oven!

A few more minutes, and you are done!

Here is what it should look like when you are done!

I usually serve it with mash potatoes, mac and cheese, and biscuits! Happy cooking! Hope you try this recipe because it is that good!
