To all my Wonderful Supporters,

They say life is like a book...it is filled with chapters that defines who we are, and those chapters leads us to a journey, to an end that is yet unknown. I appreciate those who continue to to support me, I dedicate this blog especially to you! I really want you all to get to know me, so I want to take the time to go back a few chapters in "my book"
I have planned and thought of what I have been wanted to with my life for a very long time, but fear held me back. I truly lost myself and I could not see the future. I was living the present but I couldn’t escape no matter how many times I have tried. It took a lot courage for me to end that part of my life, and to be able to finally live.  It took years to rebuild what was shattered to become who I am now.  The woman who is writing this, is not the girl who was lost in the dark,  she sees a brighter future for herself, and her family.

Oh my gosh, how things have changed. Before all of this, I was the girl who barely knew how to cook and now I am one of those women who slaves all day in the kitchen cooking a whole Thanksgiving meal. I was the girl who barely could make it through Home Economics class and now I am a mother who sews princess dresses and makes tutus for her little girl. I never thought I could pick up a hammer but somehow I turned an old entertainment center into a play kitchen. My career as makeup artist turned into another one of my many hobbies. I know some of you have truly seen me grown over the years, and probably could not believe the person I am today...I don't blame you, I can't either.

Tomorrow, I will celebrate my 28th birthday and continue to embrace life, and thank God for all the blessings he has given me.I was given a chance to to continue to live, and learn to laugh and love again. I have a beautiful daughter that has been my inspiration since the day she was born. I am married to a wonderful man that is very supportive and who truly wants me to be happy. I am grateful for my family and friends who have been there since the beginning chapters. I thank you all for giving me the courage and support.

With Love and a Little Shabby History,
Kristine

My Mini Family

This pic was taken at my husband's graduation. I was pregnant in this picture but did not know it yet!

Our second set of parents...Aaron's older brother and our beautiful sister in law. We just click!

I am so happy we took this pic at my baby shower. My cousin and one my best friend on the very left. My sister, sister in law, and brother, we don't know what we would do without them but we love them all!

Sorry this pic came out blurry. But those are our parents at my daughter's Baptism! They are always there for us no matter the distance!

My best friends for 17 years and counting!

My nephew and one of my biggest supporters and best friend, his mom!

We love this mini family from Cali! They are the most genuine people and they are just amazing friends!
PS. Here are some pictures that I wanted to share:

Hawaii's "Lava Flow"

We went to Hawaii in '07 with our good friends that introduced me to my hubby, and my girlfriend and I tried this drink called "Lava Flow", it was soo good...I wish volcanoes really erupted this kinda goodness and everyone would just be happy...literally! I could only remember a few ingredients that the bartender told me...do you really expect me to remember after sipping one of two, or three of these drinks..whos' counting??!! Well anyways, here is my take on it...I think I got it down pat..I would always make this drink at our get togethers back with my friends in Cali...no complaints.

What you will need:
Rum- you can do it with plain rum but I like to use Banana Rum, or Pineapple Rum
Pina Colada Mix
Strawberry Puree Mix
Ice
Umbrella, Pineapple slices, or whatever you want to use to garnish this drink beautifully

That's it! Simple but sooo so good!

Let's get the party started!

In a blender, pour 1 -2 ounces of Pina Colada mix, depends how you like it now!
Then pour your rum in...I don't measure, it depends how you want  your night to end and how terrible your day has been!
Put the ice in and Blend away!

How do you get that nice red lava on the side of your glass???!!!

Before you put your Rum and Colada mix, pour a just little bit of the Strawberry in your glass. Now move your glass around, so the puree creates swirls on the side of your glass.

Now fill up you glass with the Pina Colada mix in and Voila!

You should have something like this:

This has to be my favorite pic of my hubby and I while we were there...we are not married in this pic but I think everyone thought we were. This was on my birthday when he took me to the Sunset Cruise! It was awesome! This is when I use to severely damage my hair, never again! lol

Aloha! Yeah! I think that was a lava flow right in front of me! Those two are our dear friends. They are stationed in England now and we miss them!

The Craigs!

I had to add this picture because this ice cone was sooo yummy! After you eat all the ice, you get mango flavored ice cream on the inside!
Here are some of our pics from our trip that I would like to share with you:
